Dear Ambassador Craft,
I've heard that you visited my country few days ago to speak with President Jovenel Moïse and some members of the opposition side. Because I involve in the process of find a solution, let me tell you what I know so far.
Jovenel Moïse was elected by five hundred thousand people. Now more than two million fight for his departure. He was involved in the dilapidation of the Petrocaribe fund before he was even elected. While he's in power, he added to his account the Dermalog case and more.
Jovenel Moïse ran a small auto parts store in the back country before he becomes President.
He cannot govern because a shadow government watches his back. Furthermore, the political parties took all the height level posts within the Government. Mister Moïse believes that he is the savior of people but he is the butcher of the state. His militia that operates in the slums of the Capital kills many people every day.
In the other hand, the opposition groups were established for more than thirty years. They are part of the corrupt system. I cannot add more because they are useless, helpless and meaningless.
I live in United States for more than thirty years. In 2003, I began to redact a document in which I focus on reshaping the Haitian public system. That includes Presidency, Parliament, Judiciary, Security, Health, Finance, Education and Agriculture.
They must abolish the post of Prime Minister, which causes endemic conflicts. They must decrease the number of the Parliament members as well as the Majors. The President will lose control over the finance affairs, the security force and the judicial system. A new Agency will fight corruption and wrongdoing within the public sector.
In addition, I argue that the intelligentsia should take over the country. People should pass an exam to be able to enter the public sector.
I am the first person who introduced a Political Alternative last February and everybody follows.
I would like to see a Council of five people lead by a judge from the Supreme Court (cour de cassation) takes over the transitional period. By creating three different councils, I know how to incorporate the actors from the opposition in the transition process.
The country will need a multinational Force of 1500 men to secure the Capital and beyond and $150.000.000 to fund the reforms. If not, the oligarchs will disrupt the transition process.
Mister Jovenel Moïse should go and the actual opposition should not come, alone. People ask for a new political system that will benefit them. Tabula rasa. All elected officials must go and it is time to start form scratch.
As I said before, I spent the last sixteen years working on the project of reshaping the Haitian political system. It is a gift that I want to give to all my countrymen for the bicentenary of our Republic.
The Haitian turmoil is not impossible to solve. With go will, that will take three weeks. The problem is that the United States always chooses the wrong side, the wrong friends and the wrong policies.
If we refuse to initiate new reforms, every two years the country will experience political turmoil. Additional life will lose more businesses will close and people who have visa will stay in the United States.
